Rocking the Moroccan Style for Summer

When I think of a super glamorous party in my head, I think of a fabulous Moroccan theme.  With a big tent in the middle of the desert draped in beautiful fabric with comfortable seating and embroidered pillows.  Bold colors and patterns, gold accessories everywhere, and of course - smoking HOOKAH (my favorite!).  I may even jump on a camel to get there....

What I love about the the Chloe + Isabel Moroccan Summer Collection is the fact that its a chance for me to bring that fabulous dream into my every day life through fashion and accessories.  When you have such bold colors and designs in a piece of jewelry, you usually have to dress for your statement piece.  Not the other way around.  Your outfit becomes an accessory to your Moroccan jewels.

Right now my favorite Moroccan piece from the collection are the MARRAKESH DOUBLE DROP EARRINGS.  A pair of earrings like these totally inspire me with fashion.  I love the semi-precious turquoise with the Fuchsia Jade and the pave crystal floral detail.  These earrings are fancy but can be worn in a casual way too.

I put together 2 different outfits I think work with the Moroccan inspired earrings.

My So Comfy outfit features a burgundy pleated H&M Skirt, black leather H&M flats, cream H&M jersey tank top, and Chloe + Isabel Marrakesh Double Drop Earrings.

My So Fancy outfit features a teal pleated H&M Dress, Alice & Olivia Sandals from DSW and Chloe + Isabel Marrakesh Double Drop Earrings.

Both outfits are pretty comfortable, I would say the soft jersey tank and flats are what make the first a little more casual for day time.  What I love about these outfits are the fact that they match the Moroccan earrings perfectly without being the exact same color.   The burgundy in the skirt pairs perfect with the Fuchsia jade in the earrings.  And the teal pairs perfectly with the semi-precious turquoise.

Even though I like my outfits to "match" its more about "putting together" a look.  Nothing has to perfectly match, because colors in the same family or palette always look great together!
